This has become one of our regular neighborhood haunts. Pizza, Greek salad and occasionally wings get the wings. Always perfect. Staff here is great, they work as a team and do a top notch job of circling to make sure everyone is happy. Although we don't drink, I see refills and second rounds show up at just the right moment and people are always happy when they are eating at Walters. We like the patron seating so we can bring the pup. The bar is fine too when it's cold outside. They can seat groups up to 8 or 10 depending on how busy they are. This is a popular neighborhood hangout and their staff seem to be very stable which makes for quality service.
Fantastic pizza, via a very friendly & courteous server. This is always what happens when we decided to visit this wonderful neighborhood gem of a pearl on Peal.

Our pizza was amazing! The staff were equally amazing! Our server, Jamie was so much fun to talk with. She recognized us from a previous visit and helped us feel comfortable and like we belonged. I give the pizza 5 stars and Jamie 5 stars! Thank you Walter's!

I don't know how I've somehow avoided Walter's for YEARS! Probably because I assumed it was always busy here. Came here for lunch with a friend and had a phenomenal experience. We split a Greek pizza, and it felt filled to the brim with fresh ingredients. The crust was great too, which is a high compliment to pizza. Wait staff was super chill. I know I can order food from Walter's via delivery, but I loved the vibe so much in-person that I would go out of my way to come back again, even though parking can be challenging!
I came here after someone recommended this pizza spot in Uptown. Safe to say, I've returned multiple times and others I've brought have enjoyed it, as well. They don't skimp on the toppings and everything just melds together. I'm not usually a fan of the crust, but their crust is soft and not too doughy. Service is quick and they have a bunch of options on tap if you dine in.
The pizza here is so wonderful! The most important part of a pizza (imo) is the crust, and I just loved how soft the crust is! I also like that you can build your own pizza! I chose that option, and made a similar version to the pesto pizza..... except they forgot to put the pesto on the pizza.... Oh well, whatever I had was delicious! Highly recommended!! I also like that they have outdoor seating, because it's tight on the inside on the building.
